What's the price?
We charge per efficient hour and the hour price varies slightly since different large volume customers have made different agreements with Analyscentrum. Please contact Maria Risholm-Sundman (08 - 743 45 96) for the exact hourly price for your company. Everything is included in the hour price. You do not pay any extra fee for instrument time, chemicals or CAS searching.
Do you have any price list for "standard analyses"?
We hardly run any standard analyses and therefore we don't have any particular price list either. Just to give you a hint: A structure evaluation with NMR + MSMS might cost ~ €2,000 and the development of a new GCMS-method might cost ~ €6,000. Our minimum fee is €5,00.
Do you give quotations?
We do not normally give exact quotations, but that might be done on demand. However, you will always get an approximation of the cost before the job is started, and on larger jobs we can also make agreements on fixed cost or time gates so you get sub-reports every 50 hours or so.
How do you report?
You will always get a written report and normally our reports are quite extensive. We do not like to report with just a chromatogram or a spectrum. We try to see beyond the instrument output and include our own interpretations and a discussion part in our reports. We try to understand and explain - that is what we call chemical problem solving, and that is what makes us different from most other contract laboratories.
How long do I have to wait before you can start?
Analyscentrum is a highly flexible organization that easily reallocates personnel and equipment when you have an important deadline to meet. However, the normal waiting time is 4 to 6 weeks before we can start a new project.
Do I buy the analytical method or just the results?
A large part of all the jobs we do deals with developing new methods that will later be used in our customers' production plant laboratories. When reporting those jobs we will of course include the entire method with all parameters, such as columns, eluents, flows and temperatures. However, for shorter analytical jobs based on standard methods only the plain result is reported.
What about primary data?
All primary data are normally stored at Analyscentrum for ten years. However, on demand the responsibility for the storage of the primary data can be handed over to the customer.
Do you accept external customers?
Indeed we do! It does not matter if you are within the Akzo Nobel group or an external company - you get the same good service.
